Dave Spivak is a Winnipeg, Manitoba-born singer/songwriter, guitar player, actor and entertainer currently living in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Spivak started writing and performing his own songs at the age of 17, and has recently recorded with Jay Nowicki (The Perpetrators’) and drummer Ryan Ahoff (Annihilator, The Watchmen).
Spivak’s songwriting is influenced by the social, spiritual, cultural and economic atmosphere of old Winnipeg and lake life out in Traverse Bay, Manitoba - the bloodline of Spivak’s muse and the most influential source of his creative inspiration.
Since the July 2017 release of West of the Red, produced at Bedside Studios by acclaimed producer Len Milne, his music has been played in rotation on UMFM Radio Winnipeg, Australian FM radio and has had tens of thousands of streams and downloads online.
Dave has been busy booking and performing shows through Western Canada, and has just signed on to perform on Chris Jericho’s Rock N Rager at Sea where he will open for Motorhead alum Phil Campbell, with his current project Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons.
